What I Do
I work with small businesses and individuals who need an effective online presence. I would love to help build your website and strive to provide the highest quality work at the best possible price.
Specialising in creating beautiful, useable, professional websites using best practice accessibility and W3C web standards guidelines, the result is lovingly hand coded, seo friendly XHTML and CSS that both looks good and ranks highly with major search engines.
I use Photoshop and Illustrator for creating layouts and code using XHTML or PHP. I use jQuery for animation and effects.

Do You Need a CMS?
Many modern websites are controlled by a content management system. These allow individuals who may have no experience of updating websites to quickly and easily change content or manage inventory by logging on to an online admin area.
I can advise you on whether a CMS is needed (they can be expensive and may not be the best value option for your needs), and either build a custom solution based on your needs or implement a budget off-the-shelf solution.

A bespoke website is created from scratch and from the ground up. It is the most original option that you can choose, as no-one else will have anything similar.

An entire bespoke website will give your brand a highly original look with all the functionality you desire.
Bespoke design is ideal for creating gorgeous one page, small or micro-websites, as the price will still be reasonable, but you can get exactly the right tone for your promotion or event.
It is also ideal for adding extra pages to your current website, splash pages or featured content pages. You could choose a cheaper web design option for the main body of your site, and then 'pimp' particular pages with dynamic coding (adding special offers, featured content, additional functionality...).

How Much Does it Cost?
Well. That really depends.
I charge either on a per project basis for the larger jobs, or for small updates then on an hourly rate (currently set at £20 per hour).
